Christ Our Rock is served by Jeff Limpert. He graduated in 1987 with a Master of Divinity from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin. Along with “normal” college courses, part of the educational requirements included seven years of study in New Testament Greek, five years of study in Old Testament Hebrew, 4 years of study of Latin & German, the language of the early Christian Church Fathers, plus studies in Preaching, Education, Pastoral Counseling, and also research in Biblical Textual Criticism (Study & Analysis).
He has served the Church in many ways. He has served congregations in South St. Paul, Minnesota, Merrill, Wisconsin, Pinehurst, Texas, and Crockett, Texas. He has and/or presently serves on various organizations, committees and boards including: |
- Northland Lutheran High School Board of Control
- Wisconsin Lutheran Child & Family Service Regional Steering Committee
- South Central (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas) District Evangelism Commission
- South Central District Mission Board
- Early Childhood Ministries Special Task Force for WELS Home Missions
- Chairman of Minnesota District Evangelism Commission
- Minnesota District Mission Board
His wife, Judy, is a former Lutheran grade school teacher. She is currently Christ Our Rock’s preschool teacher. Pastor Jeff and Judy are blessed with six children: Joshua, Adam, Elyse, Jacob, Hannah and Rachel. |
Judy Limpert, Precious Pebbles Preschool Director & Teacher

Judy Limpert is Precious Pebbles Preschool director and teacher. She graduated from Dr Martin Luther College of New Ulm, MN with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. She has taught in Milwaukee, WI and here in Rochester at Little Lambs Preschool. She also was a licensed daycare provider for five years. Judy is the mother of six children.

In 2007, I was called to join the Christ Our Rock family and serve on the Preschool Committee. I also enjoy teaching the 5th and 6th grade Bible History and Catechism classes and assisting with Christmas for Kids, Easter for Kids, and Vacation Bible School.
Experience: One semester before college graduation, I went to Renqiu, China to teach for two years. I came back to the USA and graduated with a B.A. from Martin Luther College in 2005. Upon graduation, I taught in Hong Kong for six months and in Shijiazhuang, China for one year. I have been blessed to serve as the 3rd and 4th grade teacher at Resurrection Lutheran School since 2007. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and baking, shopping, listening to music, watching football, basketball, and playing softball. I also enjoy studying Chinese and traveling. |
Cathy Klindworth, Administrative Assistant

Cathy Klindworth, worked as a Legal Assistant for 30+ years and also has worked for area churches. She is a member of Trinity Lincoln, rural Lake City, and is active in Altar Guild and Ladies Aid, along with being the Vice President of the Wabasha County Chapter of Thrivent Financial, and long time Board member of the Wabasha County American Dairy Assocation. She is married to Randy and has two sons. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, cooking and golfing. |
